Description

This vintage handmade quilt features a delightful pattern of embroidered birds of America, set on a rectangular shape measuring 95 inches in length and 86 inches in width. The quilt is made of 100% cotton, and is perfect for summer insulation. The drop length is 16 inches, and the quilt is a double size. The quilt is an original, and was produced using an embroidery technique in the United States during the 1920-1949 time period. It comes with a set that includes the quilt bedspread and is a great addition to any collection of linens and textiles. The quilt is in good shape for its age. It was made by my own mother in her early years of marriage around 1930 - 1940. It was used but beautiful. She had eight children and it is clean with maybe a few pinholes in th drop section. No bad stains at all. She was proud of it and too very good care. I am the last one left and would love for someone to continue to love and care for it. It will most certainly to add a touch of vintage charm to any bed or bath. The drop is approximately 16”. It is a bedspread. At least that’s what we used it for. Satisfaction Guaranteed
