Handmade Feed Sack Blanket #2 Twin XL size / may work for a double size Shown displayed on a queen size bed and it’s a bit small, but still useful as a layering throw This 1930s / 1940s era vintage patchwork quilt is a lovely cottage style accent that has such a homespun, heirloom quality. These are handmade, up cycled pieces that are made up of depression / WW2 era calico cottons that were seen in feed sacks and flour sacks. One side is a geometric design made up of fabric squares, and the reverse is the off white, with advertising images from the classic feedsacks that are visible. The cotton prints are ditzy florals with a prairie feel to it, one with roses and stripes, and another that has a folk feel to it, with birds and florals. What makes this special: The classic designs in both the cotton floral prints and the typefaces and artwork in the feed sacks on the back give this such a great farmhouse aesthetic. These are amazing handmade pieces that have great workmanship to them with both machine and hand stitching. Decorating ideas: This is one of two that I have listed, both in matching patterns, should you have two twin size beds in the same room that would be perfect for having coordinating bedding. These would be perfect in an airbnb in an old farmhouse.
