Description
This handmade quilt is a true vintage treasure, measuring 90" in length and 78" in width. I rescued this from southern Indiana in the heart of the Midwest. Its unique design features a stunning double wedding ring pattern in hues of maroons and greens intermixed with similar floral patterns. Made with skill, patience, and materials that have stood the test of time - this is a beautiful reminder of yesteryear that can be used in any room of your home. This soft cotton and well loved piece is truly special, with its hand stitching and patchwork. It is pre-owned but has been well cared for - a close inspection revealed eight tiny holes (all along the seams) that need a few slip stitches to correct. No stains. Hues of yellowing, if any, in some of the ivory sections is faint or indicative of the expected aging process considering its age (I'm guessing 1980s). For the most part, the underside of the quilt and the ivory sections appear as off-white. Please see all of the pictures as they are part of the description. I've tried to take a lot of pictures from all angles in my guest bedroom during the brightest part of the day in natural lighting. It is shown on a full-size, double bed. Comes from a smoke-free home. Be sure to check out our other vintage listings!
