Description

These are from the fabric stash of a Pennsylvania Dutch quilter's/sewist's estate. Large lot of polka dot fabric pieces. The green ones are reclaimed and the fantastic red-with-big-white-dots ones appear to be from an abandoned sewing project. Most of the rest are irregularly cut leftovers from sewing projects. When pieces are irregular, I have stated the largest rectangle that could be cut from the piece. In the order shown in the pics above: Green reclaimed Concord Fabrics. Bright green with pinpoint white dots. Used. Had been made into curtains or table runners, then returned to the owner's fabric stash. Each edge is turned over/stitched. Some slight fading in spots. One edge has a small hole in it. -2 pieces each measuring 68" x 21". Brick red or maroon with small white dots. Signature Classics by Oakhurst Textiles. Has a couple cuts out of it. Largest possible rectangle remaining is -44" x 24" Yellow with white pinpoint dots. -17" x 21". Pale pink with white dots -5" x 14". Crimson with big white polka dots, Cranston Schwartz Liebman Textiles. I can't get my camera or computer to render the exact shade of deep crimson, but these are really magnificent polka dots, the polka dots sine qua non . (This one's my favorite, can you tell?) Apparently an abandoned sewing project; one piece has two slender darts sewn in it. 3 irregularly shaped pieces. The largest possible rectangles that could be cut from each piece are -76" x 12" -76" x 10" -18" x 50" There are also a couple smaller pieces. Black with mid-sized white polka dots, Cranston. Two irregularly cut pieces; the largest rectangles that could be cut from them would be -32" x 47" -34" x 18" White with mid-sized pink and black polka dots, David Textiles. Four pieces. Two are irregularly cut ; largest rectangles that could be cut from them would be -36" x 5" each Two pieces are rectangles measuring -17" x 16" each White with black flocked dots/ dotted Swiss. Irregularly shaped ; largest rectangles that could be cut from them would be -6" x 12" -4.5" x 14". Always happy to combine shipping.
