Description

Note: If used as a child's quilt, the buttons should be removed based on the age of the child. This wall hanging has been hand washed. It is clean and ready to hang (there is a sleeve attached) or to use as a small blanket. There are a variety of fabrics in cream, white and green that are used to piece the blocks. They look like crazy quilt blocks because of their irregular nature. The piecing looks like it was done by machine. On top of these blocks, there are pieces of pink and brown attached by machine with an exposed raw edge to create a raw/chenille type edge on those pieces. To me, the applique looks like brown paws with pink claws and pink tracks. The quilt top and backing are layered together with hand quilting and the stitching from the machine appliqued pieces appears on the backing. There are also buttons added that create texture and interest. Size: 24 x 34 1/2" I would be happy to answer any questions.
