This handmade Quilt of Honor tells a story of gratitude and dedication. Crafted with love by the Turlock Quilt Guild in California, it was presented to Air Force veteran Bob Specht in December 2012. The quilt features a beautiful stars and stripes design in classic red, white, and blue, symbolizing patriotism and honoring those who've served our country. A Quilt of Honor can not just be requested but are only made for those who served our country and meet certain qualifications such has purple heart awardee and multiple services. Each quilt is then custom made, there aren't many but each one is unique and made with care and respect. Various fabrics were chosen to make the red and white stripes which both shows the time and thought that went into the production of the quilt and makes the quilt look stunning and unique while still accurately representing the United States Flag.
