Gama Mini Diecast Model No. 1129 (9830) - Opel GT 1900 1:43 Scale - Approx. 9.5cm Length Gama were a long established producer making models in what was then West Germany. Gama is said to be a contraction of the name of its founder George Adam Mangold and had a very long history of producing tinplate toys starting in the 19th Century. The "Gama Mini" range of 1/43 scale model cars were introduced from 1970 onward, aimed at the growing collectors market. The series ceased to be produced in 1994. This model depicts the Opel GT 1900, and it features opening doors and engine compartment as well as cleverly-designed "roll-over" pop-up lights. This variant, in metallic gold, is hard to find. Good pre-owned condition, in original box. Box has some minor wear, and a heavy crease across the back, but, overall, is good, with no serious rips or splits. Model itself is very good.
