Dawn's Light is that daily awe-inspiring edge between deep nighttime blues and light blue morning skies with gleaming rays of yellow and white sunlight. The colors are shining out from a starry center and surrounded by the edge of night in this gorgeous quilt project. This queen size quilt is a generous 95" x 107" allowing for a 17"-18" drop on the sides and has a variety of 12" nine-patch star blocks, log cabin blocks and custom blocks that include 6" nine-patch stars. A quilter with moderate skills, or a very confident beginner, will be able to achieve this striking project. NOTE: THIS IS THE KIT VERSION OF THIS QUILT AND NOT THE BLOCK OF THE MONTH! The kit contains a color copy of the Dawn's Light quilt pattern/instructions by Wilmington Prints along with enough fabric to complete the Queen Size Quilt top as shown in picture 1. This kit contains all fabrics required for the top of the quilt and edge binding. Backing and batting will need to be purchased separately. The overall finished size of this quilt is 95" x 107". There are no substituted fabrics! Picture 2 shows the actual fabrics included in this kit, pictures 3 thru 9 show images of the blocks you will make for this quilt project and picture 10 shows the coordinating pillow sham kit available under SKU AAFQK-1270 (while supplies last). 8-7/8 yards is recommended for backing fabric assuming a standard 44/45" width or 3-1/3 yards if using a 108" backing fabric. We carry fabric options for your backing if you would like to purchase it with your kit. A little over 22-1/2 yards of fabric is included with the kit along with the pattern. NOTE: FABRICS IN THIS KIT ARE PACKAGED IN THE SAME ORDER AS LISTED ON THE PATTERN SO YOU CAN ORGANIZE AND MARK THEM USING YOUR FAVORITE METHOD!
