Description

Homemade, machine stitched flower basket applique and patchwork quilt. 11.5" quilt blocks with appliqued flower baskets. The black cotton used for the baskets is almost completely worn off. Has satin-stitched machine edges on the appliques. The appliques are on a white background with a green floral border. Edged in a light yellow. Yellow on four corners, however, the maker must've run out of the green floral and used a larger patch of yellow on two corners. The backside is also yellow, a bit darker with lots of pilling on the backside. Also, the maker, Leora Edge has written her name on the back along the edge. (see last photo). Measures about 52x54". Suitable as a stacker! Homemade, but machine stitched and machine quilted. Laundered before listing, line dried.
