ANTIQUE BASKET QUILT MULTI ON BLACK AND WHITE PRINT NEAR MINT 1880s. It has never been washed always stored in a collection. The quilt measures 85" x 86", has a thin cotton batting, a generous size for a vintage quilt. HAND QUILTED with square diagonal quilting over the entire quilt @ 8 tiny hand done stitches per inch. The quilt is hand pieced and has a cotton back. The backing material has faint foxing from being stored in a blanket chest, also a couple of faint foxing marks as shown near edge on front. However no rips, tears or odors. It has been in a collection for a long time. We have and are listing many from this collection we purchased. Add this great quilt to your collection today.
